At Baymeadows Dental Care, we specialize in gentle and personalized dental care.
Founded by Dr. Larry Young in 1975, Baymeadows Dental Care (formerly Larry Young Dental) has had the same mission and vision since its opening day all those years ago. By providing a safe environment dedicated to excellence in care and committed to personal service, the practice has blossomed into a thriving and integral part of the Jacksonville community.
Our dentist and team stays on top of the ever-evolving field of dentistry, welcoming and adopting newer materials, techniques, procedures, and technology to enhance the delivery of care to our patients.
Dr. Young and the team are grateful to have helped many generations of patients value and participate in their oral health. We are thankful to have formed many relationships with patients who have turned into friends and finds joy in treating the children and grandchildren of so many original patients.

Larry C. Young, DDS
Dr. Young was born in South Carolina and attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1973. After spending two years working as a dentist in the U.S. Army Dental Corp in Colorado Springs, he moved to Jacksonville. In 1975, he opened Larry Young Dental, offering general, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. Dr. Young is passionate about every aspect of dentistry and enjoys being a continuous student of the profession. He finds helping patients with their oral health, which contributes to their overall health, deeply rewarding. When he is not helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles or participating in dental organizations and teaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, traveling, exercising, attending Gator and Jaguar football games, and relaxing at the beach.
